A Revista Brasileira de Educação Ambiental [REVBEA] esteve sob a coordenação editorial da Rede Mato-Grossense de Educação Ambiental [REMTEA], desde o número zero ao número 4, totalizando 5 volumes, durante o período de 2004-09. Assinaram a chefia editorial quatro membros da REMTEA: Heitor Medeiros, Michèle Sato, Michelle Jaber e Regina Silva. Até o número 3, tivemos a sensibilidade e participação do artista plástico Bené Fonteles.
A partir de julho09, especificamente durante o VI Fórum de Educação Ambiental da REBEA, Rio de Janeiro, a coordenação editorial passou a ser da Universidade Federal de Rio Grande [FURG], cujos responsáveis são:
